Who are we?

Kingswood Y's Men's Club is part of Y's Men International, a YMCA affiliated service and community organisation with over 29,000 members in over 1,500 clubs worldwide.  

Despite the name "Y's Men" the club is not exclusively a male preserve and is open to all members of the community.  Our club has 38 members at present, both male and female.  We meet for a semi-formal dinner on the third Thursday of each month from September to June and are very pleased to welcome visitors to our meetings.  We also have many social events and try to make sure we put "fun" into our fundraising efforts for deserving causes both at home and abroad.  In all these activities we are well supported by our partners.

Our charity fund raising activities enable us to support local and international needs. Christmas Tree sales, Concerts, Charity Lunches, Horse Race Nights and many other smaller activities enable us to donate over £4000 each year.

Our club meets at Lincombe Barn, a Community Centre in the district of Kingswood on the outskirts of Bristol, 120 miles (190kms) west of London with which there are good road and rail links.
